"Don't mention the war!" 


Iraq 'shadow' hits Labour's vote:

"The 'shadow' cast by the Iraq war has hit Labour in Welsh and English local elections in a result that could see them plunge into third place."

Funny, I'm sure I remember Tony saying "It won't be about the war, people in britain value local ammenities and local services much more"

Shows what he knows.

[update] Jeez, even David Blunkett is getting in on it:
"David Blunkett said he was "mortified" by the results and blamed the Iraq war for "damaging" the Labour vote."

Well, it looks like the message if finally getting through to them.
